Language

When kids are young and watching Sesame Street they are taught how to count in Spanish, the official language of Mexico.  At least my boys did!

Many of the words that are used in the United States came from Mexico.  They are: canyon, corral, desperado, lariat, lasso, patio, rodeo, and stampede.

Most Mexican Indians speak Spanish in addition to their own ancient language.  But more than 5 million Mexican Indians primarily use an Indian language in their daily life.
