The Wooly Worm

One day while I was  crossing the street

Who, but whom did I meet

The wooliest wooly worm ever so sweet

There we did each other greet

As I said to him out loud

"Wooly! Don't you see the crowd?

All these cars and folks do scurry

Because they are in such a hurry

And if, I don't quickly, scoop you up

You will surely, run out of luck

You will not see the other end

Where you wish to greet your friend

And that would be so sad ...I'd cry...

Because you just might be a magnificent butterfly!"
