In remembrance of September 11, 2001, I decided to teach the children about "Our Flag". We will be studying the history of the flag, Betsy Ross, the Pledge of Allegiance and its meaning, Francis Scott Key, Uncle Sam, and many patriotic songs to go with this unit.
