Summer Calendar Activities

 

In the summer you want your children to continue to learn and have fun doing it.  Here are day by day activities for your children.  Our summer is July and August.

Read a joke book. Tell your friends or family some of the jokes.

 

Draw a picture of something outdoors that interests you.  Include everything you see.  Then write why you chose that scene to draw and color.  Share the picture and your writing  in the evening with your family. 3 Do some practice math problems. 4 Happy Fourth of July!  Write what you did today in a writing journal. 5 Watch your favorite show today on TV.  Then write about one of the characters. Did they do something that made you mad, laugh, etc.

Read a Non-

Fiction Book.

Write 5 things

that you learned.
